This engagement session was the last session I did before the Shelter-In-Place order was put into place, and I'm so glad that it was with this fun couple and their corgis! Looking back at their session makes me so grateful to have spent this time doing what I love, and with such amazing and kind people and friends (and cute doggos!). Oh, if you've ever wondered if you could bring your pet to your session - the answer with me is always YES, because if your fur babes have been a part of your love story, then they should be a part of your engagement session, too! I'll have to create a separate post about pets and sessions because there's so much I can say about it, but for the purpose of this post, one piece of advice I always tell my couples who want to have their pets involved in their session is to bring someone along, whether it be a family member or friend, to help out. In Amanda and Andrew's case, they brought their friend, Nick (I call him the professional corgi wrangler)! And I also brought one of my best friends, Natalie (fun fact: she was the very first friend I made in college!), to help out too!

We started at Lovers Lane in San Francisco, and then spent most of the time at the Baker Beach (we all really couldn't wait to go to the beach lol), where A&A's corgis, Kylie & Nismo, got to run around and have some fun! It was also Nismo's birthday, and he loves the beach, so this session was a big treat for him lol. The evening was filled with so much laughter, fun, running around and even fooling around. Couples who can have fun, and don't mind getting a little dirty (or sandy and wet in this case) during their session are really some of my favorite couples because not only does the atmosphere feel good, the couple also feel (and look) amazing, and it really shows in the photos. Anyway, the session ended so perfectly with a beautiful sunset and the perfect family photo of Amanda, Andrew, Kylie & Nismo.

BTW, can we please admire how gorgeous Amanda looks in her Lulus dress??
