Intimate Wedding Pricing Guide

Hey there! Below you'll find all the detailed info on my intimate wedding (about 30 guests) photo pricing. It's broken up into three sections: the wedding package pricing, add-ons, other fees.

After reading through it and it looks like something you can work with, follow up with me to schedule a consultation where we'll get to know each other, discuss your wedding vision, & even preview a couple of full wedding galleries!

For questions, you can email me at: hello@dianeb-photography.com

intimate weddings | Starts at $2,650

1 photographer

This package includes 1 photographer (me!). For most weddings, one photographer is all that's needed but depending on the timeline of the day, a 2nd photographer might be needed. During our consultation and throughout the wedding planning process, we'll work together to determine if a 2nd photographer is needed for your wedding day.

4 hours of coverage

This package includes 4 hours of coverage. This covers the tail end of getting ready, the ceremony, and group formals.

Normally, intimate weddings are pretty low-key with not many of the "traditional" events of a full wedding day, which is why coverage is shorter than full wedding days.

BUT! Of course, this depends on the timeline of your wedding day, what additional events are happening, the types of photos you'd like me to capture, and your preference on what time you'd like me to start & end. We'll be able to discuss a general idea of the photo day during your consultation (and then iron it out after we've booked and throughout your wedding planning process).

password-protected online gallery

Your wedding photos are protected with a personal password so that random strangers don't access your gallery. You'll be given two passwords: a client password (for you, the couple), and a guest password (for guests, or anyone you'd like to share your gallery with). The difference: with the client password, you can mark any photo private and your guests won't see those photos.

What you can do within your online gallery: download the hi-resolution digital files of your wedding photos, create multiple albums of favorite photos, order prints through the print shop in your gallery.

Fully edited wedding photos

I edit any photo that's amazing and best retells the story of your wedding day! It can range anywhere between 400 final edits to 600 final edits.

The final number of edits all depends on multiple factors such as: the flow of your wedding day, how much is happening during the time I'm there, and if a 2nd photographer is added.

Typically, for slower-paced weddings it'll be on the lower end. For wedding days that are jam-packed with events, it'll be on the higher end. And if you added a 2nd photographer to your package, that means even more photos!!

My turnaround time for the full gallery is between 10-14 weeks depending on how busy my season is.

15 fully edited sneak peeks

I get it. Waiting for your wedding photos can feel like a lifetime! Which is why I like to edit and send sneak peeks. You'll receive 15 fully-edited sneak peeks within 1 week after your wedding day. It will be uploaded to your password-protected online gallery, which is where your full gallery will be, too, when it's ready.

crystal heirloom thumb drive

It's not just a lame plastic thumb drive from Best Buy. Your wedding photos are precious and beautiful, and they should be stored somewhere just as precious (and beautiful). The thumb drive will have all your hi-res edited wedding images (and engagement images if we did an engagement session together) so that you have backup copies of your digital files with you should anything happen to your online gallery.

It's best to have your photos stored in multiple places in case something happens. I like to suggest at least 3 different spots. Some suggestions: backup thumb drive, another external hard drive, in the cloud, and on your computer.

four 8" x 12" matted prints

It's nice to have someone else print your photos, especially if you're like me and take foreverrrrr to order prints lol. So, I include four 8"x12" prints in the wedding package! They'll be professionally printed, and then I do a quality check to make sure they're perfect, and then they're gallery-mounted on to white 11"x14" mats. When you go to buy frames, make sure that the opening is 11"x14"!

After your full gallery is delivered, you'll get to choose which 4 photos you'd like printed. Alternatively, I can choose the 4 prints for you, if that's easier. We'll cover this option in my wedding photography questionnaire.

surprise item!

I normally keep this a secret because I like to surprise my couples, but you'll get an extra special item in your wedding package!

What is it?? It's professionally printed 4"x6" prints, hand selected by me! And they'll be stored in a beautiful linen box, where your thumb drive is also stored.

other inclusions

Also included in the wedding package:
- Access to my Preferred Wedding Vendor list. This includes videographers, wedding planners, florists, HMUA, DJs, etc!
- Wedding photo timeline guidance and management.
- Discounts to future sessions after your wedding! Such as: post-wedding sessions, couple sessions, and family sessions. Note: The discount is only applied to full sessions, not to mini sessions. Discounts are also only applied to the session fee; it does not discount travel fees and sessions add-ons.

photo package add-ons

Additional coverage | $520 per hour

After the 4 hours of coverage is up and you'd like more coverage, it's an additional $520 per hour.

2nd photographer | $600 for 4 hours

The great thing about having a 2nd photographer is that they can help me cover things that I'm not physically able to do since I'm only one human (but how nice would it be if there were 2 of me??), especially if the timeline is pretty dense and tight (that's what she said).

Some examples where having a 2nd photographer is useful:
- My 2nd photographer can cover photos of partner 2 getting ready, while I take photos of partner 1 getting ready.
- Different viewpoints of your ceremony + more candids of your guests
- If I'm photographing family formals after the ceremony, I have my 2nd photographer photograph the details of your reception space before guests are seated, and candids of cocktail hour.
- Different viewpoints of the events happening during your reception and more candids of your guests.

Those are some examples of the benefits of adding a 2nd photographer. If you're not sure if you'd like to add one, that's okay! We can see how the timeline of your wedding looks like and from there, determine if it's needed.

Pricing to add a 2nd photographer is $600 for 4 hours, and then an additional $150/hour after 4 hours.

I provide the 2nd photographer, and I also edit the photos they take so that it's consistent with my editing style.

Engagement session

IF you book your engagement session with me TOGETHER with your wedding package, you get $200 OFF your session!

Weekday engagement sessions (Monday - Friday) start at $650 ($450 when discounted).
Weekend engagement sessions (Saturday - Sunday) start at $850 ($650 when discounted).

Turnaround time for the full engagement gallery take 4-6 weeks, so I suggest having your engagement photos taken at least 8 weeks before you need them.

Pricing does not include travel outside of the Bay Area, Napa, and Sonoma Counties.

Day-After Session

The day-after session is basically a bridal session (but I wanted it to sound more inclusive since bridal sessions aren't all about the bride only!). The day-after session is when you get all dressed up again in your wedding attire and we get more photos of the two of you in them!

Day-after sessions are great if you:
- Prefer to really limit your wedding portraits on your wedding day and want more photos of the two of you in your wedding attire w/o worrying about guests
- Or you simply just want EVEN MORE photos in your wedding attire, because why not!!

Does it have to be the day immediately after your wedding? No, but I do suggest within 1 month after your wedding day.

Weekday day-after session (Monday - Thursday) starts at $650.
Weekend day-after session (Friday-Sunday) starts at $850.
Discount available if booked together with your wedding package.

Pricing does not include travel outside of the Bay Area, Napa, and Sonoma Counties.

Rehearsal Dinner Coverage | Starts at $1,800

Rehearsal dinner coverage starts at $1,800 for 2 hours of coverage.

When I cover your rehearsal dinner, you get to have more photos with your loved ones! I understand how the wedding day can get pretty hectic sometimes and you may not get a chance to have photos with your guests, so rehearsal dinner coverage is a great way to help with that.

There's various ways we can utilize your rehearsal dinner coverage, so if it's something you're interested in, just let me know and we can go over the details!

Other details: you'll receive 15 sneak peeks from your rehearsal dinner by the morning of your wedding day.

Pricing does not include travel outside of the Bay Area, Napa, and Sonoma Counties.

Wedding Album | starts at $1,100

The physical wedding album - my favorite add-on! Here are the details:
- 10" x 10" flat lay album
- 25 spreads (so that's 50 pages!)
- Your choice of cover material

Your album comes in a simple white box and includes a slipcover to protect your album. Contact for more details of the wedding album.

Parent Album | $400 per album

An exact copy of your wedding album but a smaller version (the size will be 6" x 6"). The perfect gift for your parents who also want your wedding photos in their own home lol.

Fully Edited Wedding Highlights | $100

When 15 sneak peeks isn't enough! Fully edited wedding highlights are 50-80 fully edited wedding photos that best summarize (highlight) your wedding day. The highlights will be uploaded to your online gallery within 1 week after your wedding.

additional fees

Travel fees

If your wedding is outside of Napa and Sonoma Counties, and the California Bay Areas, and the nearby surrounding areas, there may be additional travel fees.

During our consultation (and maybe even before if you've provided enough info in your inquiry), we'll be able to discuss the travel fees and details.

Accommodation Fees

If your wedding is outside of my usual service areas, ya gurl has to sleep somewhere (and eat) lol. We'll discuss the accommodation fees and details during the consultation, maybe even before if you've provided enough info in your inquiry.

PAYMENT BREAKDOWN:

Payment 1

This is the initial payment to officially book. It's a $1,000 non-refundable retainer + a signed contract. Once the retainer and contract is in place, we're all set and I'll send over my Preferred Vendor List + Wedding Photo Questionnaire.

PAYMENT 2

50% of your remaining balance is due about halfway between the date the contract is signed and your wedding day. My client management system will calculate this exact date once the contract is signed.

PAYMENT 3

The remaining balance is due 1 week before your ceremony date. This way, everything is taken care of prior to your wedding day. Also, asking for money on your big day is v awkward. I want you to enjoy your wedding day!
